About the Position:
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Performance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will specialize in testing and optimizing high-traffic applications to ensure they perform reliably under heavy load. This position involves both manual and automated testing, focused on ensuring the scalability, performance, and stability of our applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and product managers, to troubleshoot issues and drive quality improvements. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance and load testing on high-traffic applications to evaluate scalability, speed, and stability under various user loads.
• Develop and implement test plans and cases for both manual and automated testing, focused on high-demand scenarios.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to create testing environments that simulate real-world usage and optimize application performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking system, ensuring issues are resolved prior to deployment.
• Perform end-to-end testing to assess the application's stability and functionality across all supported platforms.
• Analyze test results and generate detailed reports, identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in performance testing and high-traffic applications.
• Proficient in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies, including functional, non-functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and API testing.
